From humble beginnings back in 2012 MTB Beds now provide some of the most exciting downhill, enduro and adventure mountain bike holidays available anywhere in the World. From the high Alpine peaks of Morzine to the dusty, technical single track of Finale Ligure there is trail, experience and shock of culture for everyone. 

MTB Beds is looking for an individual who is passionate about the great outdoors, travel and mountain biking. Someone who is motivated to join a fast growing organisation who brings energy and ideas to the party. Someone who stands on their own two feet, has an opinion and contributes to the growth of the business. 

Job Purpose: To assist with the daily operations and associated admin related to the running of the business reporting directly to the owners who will work alongside you. This will be a varied role combining office and out of office working time. You will be responsible for tasks such as product research, developing new packages and new destinations. Working several weekends at mountain bike specific events such as Ard Rock, the Malverns and London Cycle show. Assistance with logistics and the movement of vehicles, bikes and trailers to facilitate our UK tours in Wales, Scotland and England. 

You will need to be adaptable, confident, diligent and use your initiative in all situations. You will grow with the business, we have a long term growth plan in place for the business which we hope you to be apart of and develop alongside us.

Job Spec

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage UK email accounts in order to deal with present and future reservations
  • Manage UK bookings and sales using online software
  • Liaise with all suppliers from accommodation to guides and manage those relationships
  • Research and product development across Europe
  • Assist with logistical movements of equipment, bikes, vehicles and other
  • Assist on bike demo days and working at events

Required Experience/Knowledge

Essential

  • Passion for the great outdoors, mountain bikes and action sports
  • Excellent computer skills across email and Google Drive 
  • Previous experience within the travel/hospitality industry, or admin/retail/logistics experience will be considered
  • Full UK Driving license 

Desirable

  • French and Italian helpful
  • Knowledge of accounting software
  • Knowledge of European destinations
  • Previous experience within Operations/Reservations
