A mountain bike mecca, Finale Ligure is on every mountain bikers list of places to ride before they can't ride anymore! Want to make the trip but don't want to take the bike? Or just want to ride something else? Look no further as MTB Beds has you covered, from our own fleet of Transition Patrol and Sentinels to our partner bike shop, Oddone Bici, we'll get hooked up with the best possible hire bike for your trip in Finale Ligure.

Finale Ligure is no place for a short travel cross country bike, nor is it the best for a downhill bike. Here you need an aggressive enduro bike, with modern geometry, enough travel and good quality, hard wearing components. We aren't kidding when we say this is the most demanding terrain we've ridden!

At the MTB Beds flagship Villa Arcelli, we carry a fleet of Transition Sentinel 29" and Patrol 27.5" alloy hire bikes for MTB Beds clients. We've been riding Transition as our personal bikes for some time now across all destinations. It's easily the most versatile and fun platform we've used and more than enough for Finale Ligure's demanding terrain.

When you hire a bike with us, our mechanic will run through bike setup with you, to make sure everything is just the way you like it. We check the bike over every couple of days to ensure everything is running tip top. We also have helmets, armour and shoes for hire and test from Fox Head and Five Ten.

  • Lead name on booking

Transition Sentinel 29er 150mm/140mm

transition sentinel bike hire finale ligure enduro 29er

Transition Sentinel 29"

The bump guzzler, the all day epic beast, the anomaly, the 29er that shreds like a downhill bike and nimble like a, well, a bike with smaller wheels. You won't believe how capable this weapon is. A personal favourite of Transition (both of the owners ride one as their main bike) and now of MTB Beds since Rich got hold of one, this is the bike to change your mind on 29" or send you further down the rabbit hole.

Transition have thought about more than just the geometry and feel of the bike, it's ergonomic form allows function, with rattle free cable port covers, threaded BB to eliminate unnecessary creaks and praise the lord a bottle cage mount!

From Pinkbike

"The Sentinel is an absolute beast when it comes time to descend, a downright monster when the trail turns steep and rough. There are plenty of long-travel 29ers out there that can handle the Whistler Bike Park, but when it comes to tackling the steepest, chunkiest trails there aren't many that can match the Sentinel's performance. "

Built with a Sram GX Eagle drivetrain, Descendent cranks and Guide RSC 4 pot brakes as standard, we've bolted on all the best bits from our partners with Deity Components on the cockpit and DMR on the flat pedals. Of course if you'd like your own pedals just bring them with you. The suspension is looked after by Fox with the Grip2 36 and DPX Elite platforms.

Transition Patrol 27.5" 170mm/160mm

Transition patrol enduro bike hire finale ligure

Transition Patrol 27.5"

The all mountain weapon, the fun machine, the do it all rig. This bike has become synonymous with Transition. The Patrol is the epitome of all mountain, with geometry designed to be ridden hard and fast, yet still nimble at low speeds. It's as comfortable taking on the steeps as it is in the air, you can depend on it's suspension and build kit in the gnarliest of situations.

Transition have thought about more than just the geometry and feel of the bike, it's ergonomic form allows function, with rattle free cable port covers, threaded BB to eliminate unnecessary creaks and praise the lord a bottle cage mount!

From Vital MTB

Following extensive back-to-back testing I can confidently say that Transition's SBG-equipped bikes will likely lead the next wave in the continued evolution of bicycle geometry. They provide such an intuitive and controlled experience that my riding game goes up a few notches. That's real progress. Looking the bike over, nearly every aspect of an already awesome frame has been updated, tweaked, or tuned for 2018. This is Transition 2.0, and it's awesome."

We reckon many of you softies who would rather stay in the van with the heater on would benefit from afew setup tips to get your bike feeling that little bit better when the barometer reading drops.

Morzine and the surrounding bike parks of Les Gets, Morzine, Chatel and Champery-Morgins are incredible destinations to ride, world class. There is enough riding here to keep anyone happy. The sign posting is great, the community is friendly, it's a paradise for mountain biking.
