The winter is slowly releasing its hold on the Pleney trails in Morzine and revealing the debris that has fallen on the trails over the winter under the strong winds and weight of the snow, or rain!! We went for a quick walk about to take a first look at a few of the secret tails on the Morzine side of the Pleney to see what needs to be done before we send the bikes down them!

These trails are not official trails and therefore its down to the locals to clear them so we can ride and enjoy them along side all the tourists that visit Morzine for their annual MTB holiday

Its not all about just providing the best self catered MTB accommodation in Morzine for our clients, we like to make sure the trails you have untilmately come to ride are still good and that you have the best holiday in Morzine possible. The mountain bike trails of Le Pleney in Morzine are world famous and for very good reason. This little hill with 600 metres of elevation holds some of the most technical, steep, rooty, flat out tracks you can find anywhere in Europe, if not in the world.

So I guess the first question is, who is Fergus Ryan? I am 25 years old and I am the marketing manager for MTB Beds. I have been racing since I was 16, starting in Downhill before turning my focus to enduro 2 years ago. I love all things two-wheeled and pushing my limits both physically and mentally when it comes to racing.

A buzzing ski resort packed full of restaurants, bars and alpine culture, Morzine's restaurant scene was once a fairly drab affair in Summer, owners preferring to take the time off or open softly with a minimal menu and hours. Not so now with Summer offering new opportunities, new ingredients, new menus and new, sunny terraces breathing new life into the town. This is driven by the young generation of Morzinoise and British owners who are ready to move with the times.
