La Clusaz sit's at 1000 metres above sea level in the Haute-Savoie region of the Rhone Alps. This little mtb resort is tucked away in the hills just 30 minutes drive from Annecy and less that 1 hour from Geneva airport. Mountain biking in La Clusaz is super easy to access and the area is full of amazing trails.
La Clusaz currently has 16 mountain bike trails, accessed via 4 ski lifts and totaling over 110km. There are 3 specific downhill tracks which range from blues to blacks and use the natural terrain that La Clusaz is becoming famous for. The loam on these hills has been here for years and it's just waiting to get ripped up. There are also 3 Enduro tracks and these are also what’s helping to putt La Clusaz on the mtb map.

The lifts in La Clusaz open from the 20th June through to the 4th of September so a very similar summer MTB season to that of Morzine and many other resorts in the French Alps. La Clusaz is only 30 minutes drive from Morzine and if you don't fancy a full week here you can always split your mountain biking holiday over the two resorts.

We are super excited to be offering mountain biking accommodation in La Cluzaz as we feel this resort also offers a more affordable holiday. The lift passes are cheaper, the food and drink is cheaper and it might not be the same size as its rival Morzine, but you got a lot of bang for your buck.
Lift passes in La Clusaz come in at about €17 per day for adults and even cheaper for the kids so it's a great place to visit for your first mtb trip to the alps and a great introduction to the super sized world of Alpine mountain biking.
