Flying into the Aosta Valley
If you are looking to fly into the Aosta Valley from your original location there are several airport options including international travel options with airports such as Geneva and Turin
Turin Airport (TRN): Also known as Turin-Caselle Airport, it is located approximately 120 kilometres (75 miles) south of Aosta. Turin Airport is a larger international airport with a wider range of flight options.
Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP): Situated around 185 kilometres (115 miles) west of Aosta, Malpensa Airport is one of the major international airports in Italy. It offers a wide range of domestic and international flights.
Geneva Airport (GVA): Although not in Italy, Geneva Airport is a viable option, particularly for travellers coming from abroad. It is located approximately 125 kilometres (78 miles) northwest of Aosta, just across the border in Switzerland. Geneva Airport serves as a hub for various airlines and offers a good selection of flights.

Driving to Aosta from multiple European destinations
Driving to the Aosta Valley can be an amazing experience, this area of the European Alps is home to the famous Mt Blanc Mountain towering 4800M high and multiple other 4000M+ peaks in the Aosta Valley itself. You will drive over some of the most famous driving roads in Europe including the Col du Petit-Saint-Bernard and Colle del Piccolo San Bernardo. Some of the high mountain passes are closed during the Spring, Autumn and winter so ensure you check your route before you set off.
Geneva, Switzerland: Located approximately 125 kilometres northwest of Aosta. The driving time is approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions. There are no tolls on this route.
Milan, Italy: Situated approximately 190 kilometres southeast of Aosta. The driving time is approximately 2.5 to 3 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions. You will encounter tolls on the highways, with an estimated cost of around €10-€15.

Traveling to the Aosta valley Via train
There are several options to travel to the Aosta Valley via train. The Aosta train station is located near the old city and very close to the Pila Sky Line Gondola taking you up to the mountain bike trails of Pila above the town of Aosta itself. Turin has a direct train option to Aosta with over 20 trains a day running, this is a great option if you and looking into your onward travel after flying in Turin.
