Morgins - Le Madze

Morgins, where the wild men come to get wild. Le Madze is flt out staright from the start with wide open singletrack, with small transfers and banked turns. It splits to the right not far from the top, where the blue will take a more gentle direction. After the split a sick section of tight berms and two large hip jumps gets you the hero holla's from the lift. The trail is an absolute hoot from top to bottom, with jumps and berms the main order of play, you have to be on it to make all the lines though!

Morgins - Le Tobogane

Morgins turns are no better than on this windy red coming from the top of this impeccably kept hillside. Huge corners, road gaps, more huge corners that have built in return banks for getting those drifty wheels back in line, lead into roots, roots and more roots. Plenty of line choice in the middle section keeps you on your toes. This trail is as fun as it is fast, technical and demanding of your attention.

The mountain bike trails of Le Pleney in Morzine are world famous and for very good reason. This little hill with 600 metres of elevation holds some of the most technical, steep, rooty, flat out tracks you can find anywhere in Europe, if not in the world.

So I guess the first question is, who is Fergus Ryan? I am 25 years old and I am the marketing manager for MTB Beds. I have been racing since I was 16, starting in Downhill before turning my focus to enduro 2 years ago. I love all things two-wheeled and pushing my limits both physically and mentally when it comes to racing.

A buzzing ski resort packed full of restaurants, bars and alpine culture, Morzine's restaurant scene was once a fairly drab affair in Summer, owners preferring to take the time off or open softly with a minimal menu and hours. Not so now with Summer offering new opportunities, new ingredients, new menus and new, sunny terraces breathing new life into the town. This is driven by the young generation of Morzinoise and British owners who are ready to move with the times.
