From humble beginnings in 2012 Atlas Ride Co now provides some of the most exciting Downhill and Enduro holidays available anywhere in the World. From the bikes parks of Morzine and the Portes du Soleil, to the technical single track of Finale Ligure and the high alpine of Aosta, there is something for everyone.
We are looking for a qualified mountain bike guide to lead our clients in Finale Ligure on adventures they will never forget on some of the best trails in the world. If it sounds like your dream job then read the below to see if you are the right fit.
For the successful candidate;
- Passport - Must be an EU citizen
- Language - Have at least a functional knowledge of Italian and perfect English
- Finale Ligure - Have a very solid knowledge of the Finale Ligure trail network*
- Qualifications - A mountain bike guiding or coaching qualification recognised in Europe with outdoor first aid (MIAS level 3 or equivilent at a minimum)
- A dedicated mountain biker that loves gravity riding to a high level
- A good knowledge of bicycle maintenance
- Able to put the needs and enjoyment of the client before their own at all times
- Be humble, approachable and be able to bring stoke to the wettest, coldest days aswell as the bright and sunny, be calm in challenging situations, be able to communicate well and work within a team.
*We would expect you to be able to lead a tour and organise a shuttle route in Finale Ligure, though training will be provided you will need to have some experience in the Finale Ligure area and this will be asked for during the application process. We will be asking you for an itinerary, for exit routes in case of an emergency and for alternative plans when a program has to change on the fly. This is knowledge we would expect you to have before training.
For the right person there are opportunities to work with us as an independent contractor under our brand or on a seasonal contract basis, we are open to discuss arrangements up to and including an annual position.
The guiding role in Finale Ligure runs from May - June and September - October, this can be extended into the summer and winter seasons in other capacities or as a guide dependent on your qualifications.
You will have the opportunity to work with our sponsors but we are open if you have existing to commitments to other brands, these can be discussed during the application.
