You don't appreciate a great guide until you meet one. There are alot of cowboys and cowgirls out there that claim to have what it takes but very few cut the mustard. Being a guide is much more than just knowing where the trail is and being able to ride it quicker than most punters, this is the amateur way, they'll show up without spares, a bike in bits, a mobile phone with 30% battery and pedal off at the speed they want to ride, waiting for you at the bottom.

If you're a professional, it's first and foremost a job of hospitality and safety. You are there for the client at all times to ensure they are on the kind of trails they'll enjoy and that you know to the best of your ability they will be able to get down safely. You'll know exit points on every trail, where help can get to you. They'll have a pack full of every kind of spare and get out jail zip tie they can carry, tubes, cannisters, snacks, jackets and of course a good first aid kit and the skills to use it.

We've worked with many guides and coaches over the years and will only ever trust our clients to those that we know will carry the values of MTB Beds with them, by doing the right thing for the client every turn of the pedal.

Aosta, the focal point of the vast, stunning mountain scape that makes up the Aosta Valley. It's not only a beautiful landscape, it's a stunning city filled with culture, great food, good people, cool bars, Roman ruins and the hustle and bustle of a cosmopolitan city.

It's a large city that's geographically quite spread out, with several different lieu-dits or suburbs. But the actual town centre itself is small, walked in under 15 minutes and all sprawling off the same cobbled streets that was the centre of this Roman gateway town centuries ago.

We aren't short on ideas in the MTB Beds office, but with so many of you stuck at home we figured we might give you and the family some homework.

The MTB Beds T-Shirt evolves every year and for 2020 we want you guys involved!
