Established back in 2012 after the boss broke his ankle riding the Pleney in Morzine, MTB Beds has stayed true to its core rider values in providing epic mountain bike adventures in hand-picked destinations across the globe. Our Riders Weeks in Morzine have been a roaring success with our loyal clients since we started offering them in 2014. From the outset we knew that food would be one of the defining features of the experience. Food cooked with love, exciting and still approachable.

You should be absolutely motivated by cooking outstanding plates of food, we're not interested in chalet cooks who want to phone in a bolognese. We offer classic dishes cooked with love and care, simplicity and correct cooking is key for us. Using high-quality ingredients we expect a great breakfast 6 days a week and a memorable two-course dinner 6 nights a week.

CHALET COUPLE - CHEF AND HOST MORZINE 2019

CHALET COUPLE CHEF AND HOST MORZINEWe are looking for chefs and chef/host couples to run our industry renowned Riders Week Chalets in Morzine, Chalet Chapelle and Chalet Ice, hosting up to 15 - 20 clients per week. You should both be experienced in customer facing hospitality roles, be presentable, personable, always be smiling and excited by the Morzine summer, especially mountain biking. At least the host part of the team will be a keen mountain biker.

Reporting to the Resort and European Manager, you will need to have a strong hospitality background from a similar environment. Full training will be provided to the right couple, both in the kitchen and front of house. Though we expect you to bring your own personality to the roles.

Ever felt like cooking next to the beach using amazing Italian produce? Well, we are opening up that opportunity to a professional chef for Spring 2019 in Finale Ligure.

A world-class beach resort on the Ligurian coast, we have been offering holidays here for over a year now, and with the introduction of professional race camps with Point1 Athletic and Ben Deakin, we know it'll be an amazing season.

We are looking for someone to fill a unique role, a driver. This person must have professional driving experience and must be a keen mountain biker across disciplines. You will need to have some experience in a customer facing role and be presentable, always smiling and calm under pressure.

You will be providing our day trip service to our clients around the resort, taking them around the alps and into Italy for some incredible riding adventures.

BIKE MECHANIC MORZINEYou should be an experienced bike mechanic, with an outgoing nature, and willing to think outside the box. This isn’t the job for a workshop recluse. We need you to be resourceful, think on your feet and be ready to help keep our clients bikes running perfectly so they can ride hard all holiday. You will need to have some experience in a customer facing role and be presentable, always smiling and calm under pressure.

RESORT MANAGER - MORZINE SUMMER 2019 *APPLICATIONS CLOSED*

RESORT MANAGER IN MORZINE JOBWe are looking for a dynamic team member to head up our operations in Morzine. The individual we are seeking is self motivated and able to work independently, but also excited by the challenge of working with others in a team. They should have a personable, outgoing nature, always smiling and present well.

Reporting to the Director and European Resort Manager, the role will be largely autonomous, though weekly tasks are provided, you will need to be able to see what need is required, without necessarily being prompted. The role requires plenty of flexibility, therefore strong organisational skills are imperative.

chalet assistant in morzineWe are looking for an individual to assist our chalet couple run our flagship chalet Chapelle this summer season in Morzine. There for breakfast and dinner service, you will be the support that keeps the chalet running efficiently, the glue that brings it all together.

You will be presentable, personable, professional, humble and outgoing, able to converse with any client. You will be responsible for breakfast service, keeping the chalet tip top and for keeping things on track during dinner service, assisting the chef with potwash.

We are looking for an individual to host our flagship chalet Chapelle this summer season in Morzine. There for breakfast and dinner service and for the needs of the client and the chalet, you will be the primary point of contact for the clients.

You will be presentable, personable, professional, humble, reliable and outgoing, able to converse with any client. You will be responsible for the chalet, everything and everyone within it, keeping the chalet tip top and ensuring our clients have the holiday of a lifetime.

Reporting to the Resort and European Manager, you will need to have a strong hospitality background from a similar environment. Full training will be provided to the right person, though we expect you to bring your own personality to the roles.

Hi Guys,

So I guess the first question is, who is Fergus Ryan? I am 25 years old and I am the marketing manager for MTB Beds. I have been racing since I was 16, starting in Downhill before turning my focus to enduro 2 years ago. I love all things two-wheeled and pushing my limits both physically and mentally when it comes to racing.

 

A buzzing ski resort packed full of restaurants, bars and alpine culture, Morzine's restaurant scene was once a fairly drab affair in Summer, owners preferring to take the time off or open softly with a minimal menu and hours. Not so now with Summer offering new opportunities, new ingredients, new menus and new, sunny terraces breathing new life into the town. This is driven by the young generation of Morzinoise and British owners who are ready to move with the times.

Liguria is a region rich in food culture in a country obsessed with what goes on the plate. There simply is nowhere else in the world that cares so passionately about food. The dedication to eating well shouldn't be mis-understood, it's not about fine dining, table cloths and intricate presentation, it's about love.
