Morzine, Le Pleney 26-28th July, It's game time! Europe and maybe the worlds most challenging, fun, rough, technical, steep and fastest hill to ride. Though known for its black mainline run, Pleney keeps the worlds best coming back year on year due to its network of secret trails scattered throughout the hillside.

Like any good bar or restaurant, it's not just the food and drink that keep you coming back. It's a culmination of things, the feel of the room, the music, the way the menu feels and the smile you get when you walk through the door.

A riding location is no different. Sure, the trails maybe incredible, but if the people you meet make you feel like you've been served raw chicken, you're not going to want to come back...it's the people that make it special.

We've written in many posts on the website, on Instagram and Facebook that Finale Ligure is hard on the bike and body (Fingnarly). Even with such a huge variety of enduro mountain bike trails, there is usually at least something technical, rocky, steep on each run, or maybe there's that little transfer you've spotted!

2018 just gets better and better, with a whole 10 weeks of full Portes du Soleil (PDS) opening and another 3 weeks of opening for Le Pleney and Les Gets this is hotting up to be our longest season ever.

Adding to the stoke, Morzine is playing host to the PDS opening festival on the last weekend in June and is set to be huge in honour of it's 15th anniversary.

Amazing news from Morzine and the guys at Santa Cruz Bicycles. For 2018 Santa Cruz Bicycles will sponsor the French National DH Championships in Morzine. The event will take place in Morzine from July 26-28, 2018. See what Santa Cruz say below.

Working in partnership with the Morzine-Avoriaz Tourism Office and the Pleney Lift Company, we're also helping to develop a brand new DH track for the occasion, on the legendary Pleney mountain.

Nestled away on the Swiss side of the Portes du Soleil and a gem to those that know about it is Morgins Bike Park. Maintained and Built by the Champery trail crew these tracks are fast, smooth, rough, loose and wild all at the same time with a variety of tracks for differing skill levels.

A week before round 8 of the Enduro World Series in Finale Ligure, the course was yet to be announced. Riders that were already in town, sipping espresso and guzzling gelato, eagerly awaited the map. They know Finale Ligure to be one of the most gruelling, exciting, challenging and spectacular rounds of the series.

Retaining its authentic Alpine charm, Morzine has more to offer than the mountains surrounding it.In fact, Morzine comes alive in summer, appealing to holiday-goers all year round. Surprising, right? Unlike some ski-resorts which have a sell-by- date that expires by May (or a lot earlier), Morzine is the perfect summer holiday destination.

Getting to Finale Ligure, there are two ways to get to Finale although flying is what we would suggest in terms of cost & ease of travel. However if you are in a large group or fancy a road trip there are plenty of amazing riding destinations on the way down such as, Pila, La Thuile and Morzine. Driving also allows you to bring more gear and bikes should you have them.

Hi Guys,

So I guess the first question is, who is Fergus Ryan? I am 25 years old and I am the marketing manager for MTB Beds. I have been racing since I was 16, starting in Downhill before turning my focus to enduro 2 years ago. I love all things two-wheeled and pushing my limits both physically and mentally when it comes to racing.

A buzzing ski resort packed full of restaurants, bars and alpine culture, Morzine's restaurant scene was once a fairly drab affair in Summer, owners preferring to take the time off or open softly with a minimal menu and hours. Not so now with Summer offering new opportunities, new ingredients, new menus and new, sunny terraces breathing new life into the town. This is driven by the young generation of Morzinoise and British owners who are ready to move with the times.

Liguria is a region rich in food culture in a country obsessed with what goes on the plate. There simply is nowhere else in the world that cares so passionately about food. The dedication to eating well shouldn't be mis-understood, it's not about fine dining, table cloths and intricate presentation, it's about love.
